As the first phase of my teaching practice concluded this week, it has been a fulfilling journey. I meticulously crafted and executed my lesson plan, beginning the week with an achievement test on Monday. The students showed enthusiasm, actively participating in the assessment. On Tuesday, Sangeetha Miss observed my class during the second period and provided constructive feedback. She suggested refining the visual aids, prompting me to enhance the clarity of my charts. Implementing her advice, I made adjustments to improve the visual elements of my teaching materials. Wednesday involved the distribution of students' marks, followed by a remedial session addressing incorrect answers during the first period. Later in the day, the seventh period was dedicated to a conscientization program for the ninth class. In the final period, I conducted a class on the topic of 'obesity' for eighth-grade students. The last day of my teaching practice involved a diagnostic test in the firs...

As I reflect on another week of my teaching practice, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and joy. The week was marked by various experiences that contributed to my professional development and reinforced my passion for teaching. On Tuesday,  I nearly completed the lesson on "The School for Sympathy." To add a layer of evaluation to my progress, Clara Miss was present to assess my teaching methods and classroom management.  Wednesday's second period brought another opportunity for assessment, with Kochuthresia Miss observing my class. I was particularly pleased to receive positive feedback on my voice modulation and teaching style. This encouragement bolstered my confidence and reassured me that I was on the right track in effectively engaging my students. However, Thursday brought an unexpected twist with an impromptu assembly extending the first period. This unplanned event demanded adaptability and quick thinking on my part as I had to shift my focus to the seco...

During my teaching practice, the week commenced on a positive note as I promptly covered the remaining portion of the lesson, fostering a supportive environment for students. Employing a bilingual teaching approach, I aimed to enhance comprehension and engagement. Wednesday brought its usual routine, with timely arrival to the class and the implementation of various activities to ensure an effective learning atmosphere. The diverse range of activities contributed to a dynamic and engaging classroom experience. Thursday presented a unique challenge with two substitution periods in my class. Despite the talkative nature of the students, I endeavored to manage them effectively while successfully completing half of the lesson. This experience honed my classroom management skills and adaptability. Friday marked a significant event – a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting post-lunch. With parents arriving promptly at 2 o'clock, the meeting provided valuable insights into the importan...

The dawn of the new year marked not just the beginning of another calendar, but a new chapter in my teaching journey. Eager and prepared, I arrived promptly to my class, ready to introduce my students to a lesson close to my heart - "The School for Sympathy." Despite the inevitable lower attendance during the holiday season, I embraced the opportunity to captivate the present students. With enthusiasm, I delivered a concise overview of the lesson, setting the tone for what was to come. Wednesday brought the first period dedicated to "The School for Sympathy." The first period became a canvas for exploration as I delved into the remaining portion of the lesson. Seeking to enhance engagement, I introduced a creative twist - a poster-making task. The chosen topic, "Importance of Nature," not only tied into the curriculum but also sparked the students' imaginative minds. However, the unexpected often punctuates the planned. A state-level youth festival alt...
