Teaching Practice Week 5(8/07/24 - 12/07/24)

On Monday as usual, I engaged the class on time. I focused on teaching them the remaining portion of the lesson "Debts of Gratitude." The students were attentive and participated actively, which made the lesson flow smoothly.

On Tuesday I provided the students with a comprehensive summary of the lesson. This helped reinforce their understanding and allowed them to ask questions about any parts they found challenging. The session was interactive, with many students sharing their interpretations and reflections on the lesson.

On Wednesday I received constructive feedback from Sangeetha miss . Miss commended my efforts and provided valuable suggestions for improvement. One key piece of advice was to include discourses that promote higher-order thinking skills. This feedback was crucial as it guided me to focus on developing the students' critical thinking and analytical abilities.

On Thursday I discussed with the students the idea of conducting a role play based on the lesson "Half a Day." The students were excited about the prospect and contributed various ideas on how to enact the lesson's key scenes. This discussion not only engaged the students creatively but also deepened their understanding of the text.

On Friday Kochuthresia Miss observed my class. She praised it as excellent and noted the positive engagement of the students. However, she also advised me to improve my chart for better visual support in my teaching. This feedback was valuable and provided clear direction for enhancing my teaching materials.

The week was highly productive and resourceful. Each day brought new insights and opportunities for growth. The students' enthusiasm and participation were encouraging, and the constructive feedback I received helped me refine my teaching strategies. The blend of teaching, feedback, and interactive activities made the week enriching for both me and the students.
