Teaching Practice week 4( 01/07/24 - 05/07/24)

On Monday, I started my lesson as usual and utilized the class time effectively. Later, I received a substitution in 8th D, which reminded me of the significance of being prepared for unexpected changes and emphasized the need for flexibility and adaptability in teaching.

On Tuesday, I continued with the lesson "Debts of Gratitude" and nearly completed it by the end of the day. The students were engaged and showed a good understanding of the material.

On Wednesday, the day was dedicated to giving notes to the students. However, they were quite talkative, which required me to raise my voice to maintain order and ensure they were paying attention. Despite the disruption, I managed to get through the necessary content.

On Thursday, there was a strike, and no children were present in school. I utilized the time productively by writing lesson plans, which helped me prepare for the upcoming classes.

On Friday, we commemorated Basheer Day with a special assembly conducted by the students of GHSS Vallikkeezhu, showcasing the characters from Basheer's works. Meera from 9D delivered a speech about Basheer and his contributions to literature, Harinandhan from 9D gave a short introduction to Basheer's renowned work "Viswa Vikhyathamaya Mook," and a short play based on Basheer's work "Poovanpazham" was performed. The highlight of the day was a song presented by the 7B students, which aesthetically portrayed Basheer's writing style and works. Additionally, a magazine created by the students was published during the assembly, and Annapurna from 10 D had created her own version of a work about Basheer, which was also published. This assembly showcased the multiple talents of our students and sparked an increased interest in learning more about Basheer and his literary contributions.Overall it was a satisfactory week.
