Teaching practice Week 4 ( Nov 20-24)

This week, I dedicated myself to punctuality, consistently arriving at school on time. My focus was on lesson planning, and I successfully completed 18 lesson plans, including one for a grammar lesson. A particularly memorable moment occurred when I had a substitution in the 3rd-grade class. The students, full of energy, warmly embraced me, expressing their fondness through numerous drawings. This experience brought immense joy, making the week both tiresome and enjoyable.
During this week, I engaged my class (Vlll D) with  the lesson titled 'First Shower.' The lesson involved exploring the concept of rain and its significance. I incorporated various teaching methods, including visual aids and interactive discussions, to enhance the students' understanding.
Following the completion of 'First Shower,' I seamlessly transitioned into the introduction of a new lesson titled 'A Day in the Country.' To kickstart this lesson, I utilized a diverse array of pictures related to nature. These visual stimuli were carefully chosen to evoke curiosity and interest among the students.
I observed a high level of cooperation from the students, indicating their engagement and enthusiasm for the subject matter. This positive response allowed for a smooth transition between lessons, fostering a conducive learning environment and the teaching practice experience of this week was marked by effective lesson delivery and student participation.
Generally it was a nice week but the standout moment was with the 3rd-grade students, they showed genuine affection, and interacting with them brought me immense joy. The connection with these young learners made me forget all the worries in my life. Engaging with them was truly memorable. Overall it was a fulfilling and enjoyable week.
