TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 2 ( November 6 -10)

This was the second week of my teaching practice. When reflecting on this week of student teaching  there have been so many challenges, so many happy moments and so much I have learned. 
                   On the first day of the week I have finished the lesson " Song of the flower" and started the lesson "The nightingale and the rose" on the third day as there was strike on the second day and during the free period I gave them notes. 
                      I almost learned how to control the class. We all have things to learn and my teaching experience has taught me how to learn from my mistakes. 
         I got a chance to engage the the students of 2nd grade which was very happy moment, by taking to them I forgot all the challenges and worries of my life. 
  On Thursday (9/11/23) and Friday (10/11/23) I got two period to teach my lessons by which I can complete total 8 lessonplans. 
              I have always valued forming strong relationship with my students in order to create the best learning environment for them and I was able to see the growth of my relationship with them from day to day over the week. I worked hard to break down their walls and get to know them as individual. I have loved getting to know each of my students likes, dislikes, strength and weakness and I believe that this has helped me to teach them better......

 Another busiest week ends here. It is filled with challenges as well as happiness, On the first day of the week as usual I engage my students in the first period and took remaining portion of the lesson "The nightingale and the rose". There was a PTA meeting on that day in which I actively assisted another teacher in providing tea to the parents , This collaborative effort reinforced a sense of community and support within the school.       On the third day of the week( Wednesday) there was an assembly in which students were called upon stage  who got A grade in sub-jilla level and I realised there were lots of students with many talents.  On friday I engaged my students in the first period and provided them with many activities by which they can increase their thinking skill.And there was quiz competition conducted in the school and many students were participated and two student from 10th and 9th std secured first and second position respectively and ...

Teaching practice (15 Jan 2024 - 19 Jan 2024)

As I reflect on another week of my teaching practice, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and joy. The week was marked by various experiences that contributed to my professional development and reinforced my passion for teaching. On Tuesday,  I nearly completed the lesson on "The School for Sympathy." To add a layer of evaluation to my progress, Clara Miss was present to assess my teaching methods and classroom management.  Wednesday's second period brought another opportunity for assessment, with Kochuthresia Miss observing my class. I was particularly pleased to receive positive feedback on my voice modulation and teaching style. This encouragement bolstered my confidence and reassured me that I was on the right track in effectively engaging my students. However, Thursday brought an unexpected twist with an impromptu assembly extending the first period.
